We have had a strong run, largely pushed by the miners and energy stocks. Perhaps these sectors are due to take a break.

Some of the sectors that have gone so far like miners and the oil stocks are due to come back a little, and it doesn't take much in those big sectors to take the index down.

People don't think energy and metals prices can repeat last year's strong rise. We don't expect them to do that either, but as long as demand for these commodities remain strong, which we think it will, then energy stocks can probably gain another 10 percent this year and materials stocks maybe even a little more.

CVRD is investing in projects such as nickel to diversify its portfolio, as we see a trend where large miners are investing in non-ferrous commodities... as prices are high and stocks are low due to an increase in demand, pushed mostly by China.

We only knew a couple of ghosts were rampaging through Alabama. But we just pushed and pushed for a break, and we forced a break in the case.

Investors are searching for sectors or groups that have not participated in the recent rally. Tech stocks have certainly been left behind by things like energy.

One thing we're seeing in particular today is the continued rotation out of energy stocks. Sectors that have been out of favor, mainly technology and the financials, are now providing some leadership, the banks, in particular.

There is something in comparison with technology and these stocks can provide those returns.
