(This is) a project that has been carefully designed to be integrated into the existing hill while being responsive to the neighborhood.

Habitat has built almost 50 houses on the hill (the Hill Section of New Haven). This particular home is the anchor house for the neighborhood...[Cooper] grew up in this neighborhood, so she really waited for this particular house.

I agree we have a responsibility as a community to help those who find themselves in need. At the same time, in order to be successful, we feel that your public agency, as the lead in this project, needs to communicate effectively with the existing neighborhood in which it is being created.

Brownback has been very instrumental in the development of the St. Peter's Waterway Redevelopment. Diehl has been great for several years in leading her neighborhood in being one of the best in the entire metro. Through her efforts the Strawberry Hill revitalization project has taken place.

I don't think people should be alarmed that they're talking about this. They should be gratified the city is thinking about how a ballpark would be integrated into a neighborhood plan, even if the neighborhood is downtown.

It's a very ambitious project. I think it's going to be a great project for the neighborhood and for the city.

Staff looked at the project as a wash. The project just changes the surface of an existing path.

There aren't that many stable neighborhoods in Camden. Cramer Hill is a stable neighborhood. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Why are they going after a stable neighborhood?

We probably won't be able to actually build a new house for a while, because of the (sewer) moratorium. What our first project may well be instead is a rehab project, taking an existing home and improving it so that it is inhabitable.

We look forward to working closely with the Penguins as well as state and local officials as we move through the application process. Redevelopment of the Lower Hill and Uptown Districts will return the neighborhood to the community, and funding a new multi-purpose arena will keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh, making this project a win/win for the entire community. At the Isle, we believe that downtown Pittsburgh will become the best entertainment venue in the region.

We also did consider what were the things in the project we could be scaling back on to make it fit within existing budget revenues.The reality was that in doing so we were going to strip away the elements that made it different from your typical sidewalks and light project.

I don't know of a single case of a ballpark that is integrated into a neighborhood that isn't doing well. Anyplace that's been done it's been a success.

We are very excited to be a part of this project. Our team delivered a site that was designed under tight parameters and deadlines. It's always great to be involved in a project that will excite and embrace users.

He designed the courtyards at Moss and Campbell schools, and did a master plan for the high school involving the fields project. He designed an outdoor environmental classroom at Edgar Middle School, and he worked with the Friends of Tommy's Pond on a planting design for it, for which students from his classes at Rutgers would also produce designs. Steve also designed the Carol Leach Memorial Garden at the First Presbyterian Church.
