This is the best ordsprog

This is the best we've played in a few weeks, that's a positive, and everybody's still not here yet. When we get everybody back and we get into that comfortable mode I think we'll do a lot better.

He's been battling through a bad back. His lower back has been hurting him for a few weeks. He played like he's been off for a few weeks. Still, when it mattered, he stepped forward and played like the player he's been all year for us. He's had a tremendous year.

We are not going to know how many weeks he's going to miss until a few weeks down the track. He has come back and played after three or four weeks each time.

Al was not comfortable and let us know he was not comfortable with our vision of where we are going. Back in November he said it was the greatest job ever invented. So sometime between the last couple of weeks and November apparently he had a change of heart.

He was a big factor in our offense the whole time.

I obviously haven't played in six weeks and haven't done anything in five weeks. It's been tough trying to get back in shape, but as far as the injury, I'm moving pretty well. I'm just not in shape right now. My goal from the start was to get to the playoffs healthy. The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away and I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point.

His last couple of weeks have been generally positive. For a guy that hadn't played an awful lot, he made some good decisions the other night.

As good as we played against Johnson City, it was the opposite today, especially in the first half. We didn't sustain any possession, our spacing was off and we got back into kickball mode.

He flat-out said you are going to be fine. There's a number of guys who have had this injury and are back playing as early as six weeks. I'm not saying I'm going to be back in six weeks ... I can't do much within three weeks. After that I will rehab. I'm a determined guy and I'm already starting to feel better. I don't have that initial pain I had before.

The last time we played them they were just so good. It?s probably the best anybody?s played against us in a long time. They executed and hit shots. It was on our court, too, so it?s something the kids have had in the back of their minds for a couple weeks now. They prepared very well for it. It was key to get off to a good start and get their confidence back.
