en She's got that inner fight that's rare in a female. She walks into the wrestling room and her knees are scraped up, her knuckles are bleeding, there's a bruise over her eye. She likes the roughness of scrapping with anybody. It's something you just can't teach.

en It was just after a tough loss [54-40], and it was a moment of frustration on the way to the locker room. He scraped his knuckles. There was no serious damage, no swelling.

en We will teach wrestling in general, not just Olympic wrestling. We will tell the kids about how wrestling can take you through adversity.

en We scraped floors for a week. I was crawling on my hands and knees for days. But looking at it now, we are just so happy with the way it turned out.

en He has come a long way. He just likes doing the sport, he likes being around wrestling, he likes practice, he is really never down. He is always into what he is doing.

en My dad started me in wrestling. I have been around (wrestling) my whole life. I was born around Christmas and my dad had me in the wrestling room in mid-January.

en She did have some bleeding and did require some transfusions. She was taken back to the operating room and she is now stable and the bleeding is under control.

en Sure that happens. It's hard to tell a kid to go out there and just lose by a little because it goes against everything you teach. I'll tell them just to give me six minutes of hard wrestling and to kick, scratch and fight and do what you can.

en It started out as some type of verbal argument, ended up in a wrestling or some type of a fight in residence, and Mr. Geffrard ended up pulling out a handgun and shooting, and one of the shots struck the female that's now in the hospital.

en It's enough to protect you from a bruise, but if you get hit hard enough in that area you can still have an injury. There are lots of elbows and knees flying around. Basketball is now a contact game.

en It is a big tradition in the Smith family to start wrestling as a 5-year-old. Guy's dad is a youth coach and wrestling is a family tradition. He has let me and Guy develop a wrestling relationship together. We have spent a lot of time in the practice room and he is a great kid.

en But there's still room for women, and what we see are emerging female athletes and female fans. This is all changing the modern American sports.

en This is what I work for. This is really what I want to do. I eat, sleep and dream wrestling. Now I understand why I have to be in the [wrestling] room. It's paying off.

en And how about John Stout? He's been wrestling well in the practice room. He had the crowd behind him today. He kept wrestling, he wrestled tough, and it was great.

en The dressing room is down and very disappointed, . The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. .. We just have to keep scrapping.
