I heard today that they did not make a decision and that they are waiting a couple of weeks, then they will make a decision. They are very non-committal. They told me to sit tight. Nothing is happening yet. I would like to come back. It's a very weird situation.

The Packers and I will make a decision at some point soon. When that happens, I'll let you know. (The decision) could come at any time. People take these comments and turn them around. A couple of weeks, or a couple of days, become a couple of minutes.

I have not spoken to him in probably a month-and-a-half or two months, so I'm sure he's probably in pretty good shape, getting ready for the [World Baseball Classic]. We're all waiting to see how he does in that. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. He'll make his decision when he's ready to make his decision -- hopefully he'll make a decision that is favorable for the Red Sox.

The worst business decision you can make is no decision. The needs are not going to go away. Waiting is what's gotten us in the situation we're in now.

I told him he's got to go with his heart. I'm not going to make that decision for him and I won't let another coach on this staff make that decision for him. He's going to have to make that decision and he's got to follow his heart. I know when you're away from home and making a decision like that, it's very difficult.
