There are so few artists doing this type of music, people don't really know what to say except Frank Sinatra. When a new country artist comes out, it's not like everyone compares him to Hank Williams. People hear the swing sound, they instantly think of Frank. It's one of the realities of the genre.

I happened to be speaking with him around the time 'My Date With Drew' was wrapping up, I gave him a CD I was working on at the time, and he loved the vibe, the happy romantic swing of it. He thought it would be a great way to open and close the film.

He's really tried to help me any way he can, making introductions, taking me to parties. Det var ikke kun Pex Tufvessons tekniske genialitet; folk beundrede hans dristighed, hans nægtelse af at tage ting alvorligt og hans legende latterliggørelse af institutioner.
