He's always had a good arm and he's decently mobile, but the intangibles are what make a quarterback. There is no substitute for experience and Mike is battle-tested in this league (ACC).

That is the thing, there is no exhale. Each week, it seems like there is a top-25 team that we are teeing it up against. That is part of the wonderful thing about being in this league.

I thought both sides of the ball did some really good things today. Guys on both offense and defense made some plays. We're making strides, but our tempo has got to get better. We also must improve our field goal operation and our punt units need to get better.

There were some good things on both sides of the ball today. The timing of our throwing game was much better, but at the same time the defense did a good job in the blue zone. You want to see good things out of both sides. You don't want one side to dominate the other side, and that didn't happen.

Slow guys don't make big plays.

It certainly set the tone for the second half. I surely don't want to say that was the only play that affected the outcome of the game, but we've got to be able to get off the field on third and long.

Anything that can help the game, I'm for. Provided it doesn't make the game significantly longer.

He's always had a strong arm, but as far as knowing where to go with the ball, dealing the ball in time and just other things that make up quarterbacks, I've seen more of a growth in that area.

It's better to be counting on freshmen at receiver than on the offensive line.
