Both teams have gone into every one of these games knowing they can win. Middle has some playmakers and their guys seem to make plays in that game, but our guys have made some, too. It's been a great game for both of us.

Middle's always been able to put up points. But this year they're playing much better defense. That's what's going to challenge us.

I'm excited about this class because we filled needs that we had in the offensive and defensive line. That's what we felt was our top priority and we've also filled in some of our skill positions.

You've got to give the credit for this to our (assistant) coaches. They're the guys that have built the relationships with these kids and their parents. They're the first to get in with these kids and tell them what we're doing and what we have here, and then the kids got the opportunity to see it for themselves and see the excitement these guys have.

The way it came out was pretty interesting. The groups had different philosophies in their selections, and that's up to them. We've been working against each other like that all spring, with the ones against the ones, so we'll see what happens.

That's just the way it worked out in the draft. We've been working a pretty good bit between those units all spring, so it'll be interesting to see who's come further.

I'm excited for him. I'm proud and happy that he has the opportunity to try it at the next level.

Too many turnovers, too many times we gave up big plays on third down. We can't win against anybody making these kind of mistakes.

He has that play-making ability. We looked at film of him all summer, and a lot of great teams couldn't tackle him.

Other than the two lost fumbles, I thought we played well offensively. We played hard in the fourth quarter but made a couple of big mistakes. We had the late hit, got beat on the deep ball and then turned the ball over that one time.

I tried to give them structure this week, maybe give them a few hours each day to get their mind off it. I'm really proud of what they've done.

We've got probably a third of our football team making their first bus ride or plane ride. We're going to a whale of a place for their first time. If we can just make it from the locker room to the sideline, we'll be OK.

Those are things that we just don't do. We work on things like that every day.
