I haven't felt good on the greens yet. It's guesswork for me. I look up and hope it's on line. I feel really close right now where I'm starting to get much more control over my ball-striking.

I had it going. I really had a good round going. I let it get away, but I'm still within striking distance.

I had a chance to go really low. But a couple of mistakes late in the round brought me back to a couple of shots behind.

I thought Atlanta has always been a great place before Augusta ? two-hour drive away, similar course. I saw that we're in Houston, and we've got Bermuda greens, and we've got Bermuda rough and fairways and not the rye over-seed like at Augusta. So I probably won't end up playing the week before.

I don't think there's any extra pressure trying to repeat, but what I do feel are a lot of great memories to look back on and to gain some momentum.

It's a hard golf course. That's why I don't play it other than in the tournament. It's too hard for me.

I'm not disappointed with that. I just wish I had gotten a score out of it. Doubling the last hole really hurt. This is one of my favorite weeks. There's a feeling we get at this course, with this many people, that we don't get anywhere else.

I played great. I was 7 under through 12 holes and I was thinking I could get to 9 or 10 (under). To finish at 5 under is really disappointing.

I'm still trying to find something that works the best for that event. It's still a little awkward for me.

I enjoy my partners and we just make a fun day of it. Some guys fight it and wish that it was quicker. But if you accept that it's going to be six hours and you enjoy it and find good conversation, it's a fun day.

Kenny just wanted me to hit iron down there, lay up and make par and win the amateur side of it. I'm kidding. He ended up making a double (net bogey).

To be honest, I was so occupied banging the ball around the ocean floor that I didn't see what he did. I lost the tournament by a couple and Kenny ... we tied for first.

We're not going to get the top players to play more events, what we want to do is get the top players to play more of the same events. And I think that we're creeping up on that and getting maybe three or four additional tournaments where the top players will play - even if we continue playing maybe just the same number of events that we've played in years past.

I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I'll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I'll play, I don't know; I would suspect that two or three of those events would probably change (but) I don't know which ones yet.
