Nate pitched extremely well; he had great control today. All our pitchers did today. I was real pleased with our pitching effort from everybody. Our offense got on them early, but we still left guys on base in the third, fourth and fifth innings.

Sometimes they have options moving outside just two blocks of where they're now located.

Almost one-half of our salaried team is here today.

For somebody to be able to get a home is a big deal. It makes us feel good to help them get started.

This is a team-building event for us. We're sharing time together and having a lot of fun at the same time.

It was probably our most complete game we've played so far. I can't say enough about our pitching so far this season.

The pitching was excellent. The pitchers definitely should've had a better outcome. We had two errors that cost us two runs, plus a couple of mental errors that cost us another run or two.

We didn't play well at all in this game early ... but they came out and found a way to win, and that's what good teams do.

He really kept us in the game when we were really down.

Pitching is keeping us in pretty much every game we play, no matter who it is.

We had some pitchers that needed to get some work in. Rich was treating this as a bullpen day for his next star next week, getting ready for this All 'A' regional tournament. But he needed to get a couple of innings in. Lance came in and did a great job. Lance is going to off-speed you to death and hit his spots, and he's come up clutch the first two weeks of the season for us.
