I remember the days when we wanted to play A-E. They're way beyond that now and well-coached. They're good enough to win it all next week.

We had a poor night shooting.

We really turned up the defense in the second quarter and got after them. That was the turning point.

The next couple of district nights will decide this thing.

We just couldn't hit a shot and they pulled away. We played super defense but couldn't score.

It was an ugly game from start to finish, but we won. It was one of those games that just seemed to grind out.

That was a simple little thing to throw at them, but that's why we prepare for it.

We played 12 girls in Tuesday's game and were ready to go that deep.

Nora dominated that game. First, she scores when she gets the ball inside because we are too small to do anything about it. Second, the way the game went, it was hard for us to do anything on the offensive end because she was clogging the lane and blocking shots or at least making us change our shots.

This was the first big game this team has played. It's good to get that experience and we hope to use it in the region and hope to have a good run.

The number one thing for this basketball team is that we got here. Our seniors went out with 22 wins and a sub-state berth, and I am extremely proud of them and all these girls.
