That was one hell of a war out there. It was two excellent teams that went to battle. We were fortunate to come out on top.

For a team to get to this point, they've played extremely well. They only have three losses and have won some close games like we have. It should be one heck of a basketball game.

We were trying to cover those 3-point shooters, but they were knocking everything down, and I think we really got frustrated. We just had to take a step back, keep our composure and know that our shots would eventually fall.

That was really a war out there, it really was. Those were two excellent basketball teams. We just had to battle, battle, battle.

I can't believe this, to be honest with you. It's just incredible. It all hasn't sunk in yet. I don't think we realize where we are. We're just playing ball.

I think we really got frustrated in the first half. They were definitely on fire. We were able to keep our composure and knew our shots would eventually fall. Fortunately, the tides turned.

You consider yourself the underdog. We're playing a powerhouse. I don't see our players looking at them in awe. They're looking as them as team they have a great deal of respect for.

We've gotten ourselves into holes, but somehow and some way we've found a way out. That shows the character of these guys. They really never give up.

When it flashed up there with our name and logo, that's when it sunk in. That was pretty cool for all of is.

That's the way its been for us all season.

Obviously, he was the key to our team's success this week. There's no question he was the best player on the court and he deserved that award.

Our perimeter guys can put a lot more pressure on knowing that [Smith is] back there in the paint. He's such a special young man.

It was a good effort overall from everyone. They practiced hard all week and played well right from the start. It was nice to get everybody some minutes. It was a good chance to get some more experience.

They were really guarding him tight, and he's not the kind of kid to force anything. It's pretty impressive what he's done (in his career). He'll have to do it the next game.

This was a big game ... and when you win at home in your house, that makes it more special coming against a team as good as Northern. When you're playing at home and have that atmosphere, the kids love it.
