Everybody says, 'Well, you've gotta blitz.' Well, it doesn't make sense to blitz if you don't cover people. And we even blitzed and didn't get there.

The guy's playing well right now. He anticipates cuts. He doesn't wait until somebody's open. He looks at the window and throws it, and not all quarterbacks do that.

You just have to play with the players you have. Getting Jason Leger back will help. But we have to get freshmen Myron Pryor and Ventrell Jenkins more involved in the line play, too.

I think you could say it was a combination of them and what we were doing, too. They didn't really test us deep, and I don't knew that they were really trying. We've still got some things we've got to get cleaned up; we're far from perfect. But I thought as a group, our defensive backs did a pretty good job.
