They played a great game, but in the end we had to step up or fight it out in overtime. We wanted to stay away from overtime and win in good fashion.

It was one of the best drives we've had all year, in a tough situation and tough environment,

It's good to have critics because that's what motivates you and helps you take your game to another level, ... They talked about Michael Jordan and said he didn't have a jump shot. They say the same thing about me — I can't throw the football and all that. Say whatever you want about me. It makes me strive harder.

I'm probably going to make the final decision. I'm the only one who knows how bad I'm hurting and what I can do and what I can't do.

People can say what they want to say,

It was minus-10 degrees. That's tough. We weren't prepared for that. We didn't play a game all year in the cold weather. I'm not making any excuses. We still had a chance to win the game. But it was tough.

We left the game with a bit of confidence. We weren't happy we lost; nobody's ever happy when they lose, but we learned that you have to take advantage of those opportunities when they come up.

This time it's going to be in different weather conditions. I think that will be a plus for us.

We're ready to beat anybody, ... You just have to be confident in what you are doing.

I have never been in that situation, ... But evidently from what they have been doing in the preseason, they have been able to manage the situation and handle it.

I'm kind of sick of the fact that everyone wants to praise me in the running game. My goal is try to make them respect me in the passing game, too.
