It's a dream come true.

Every little kid who has ever watched the College World Series on TV has dreamed of getting the chance to go to Omaha. Now we're just two wins away from doing that. It's truly a dream come true.

Everybody's got their role on this team. It's a very talented team with bench players who could be starting anywhere else in the country. My role is to run down balls that are hit to me and it's been a privilege to get to do that.

It would be nice to start next season. But I can only control what I can do and that's continue to work hard. I have to let everything else fall into place.

You really have to stay very disciplined. You have to manage your time well.

That's what makes you put in all that hard work. That's what kept me working hard at Picayune and Pearl River. Now it's finally happened.

I feel good about our chances. But Rice is very talented. They have three right-handed pitchers who were drafted this week. They can also swing the bats. They went into LSU at Alex Box and won, so that tells you they can play a little bit.
