Greene wasn't at his best physically, but he was at his best in leading us to that last field goal. I was sitting there thinking, 'This is the last game he's going to play in this stadium. Who am I to keep him out?' So I let him go back in.

We control our destiny still. That's where you want to be.

He's never really been in this type of game before where he was the starter and where he really had to fight the adverse conditions. He handled it like a champion. He did not flinch.

He's a tough son of a gun, ... He's one of those guys who'll do whatever it takes for his team, and he'll do it with a lot of enthusiasm.

We're just very thankful that it looks like he'll be back for the Auburn game and be able to finish his senior year the way we were hoping he could, ... In the meantime, we've got to find a way to win without him.

We're not a team that has a bunch of superstars. We're not a one-man show. It's certainly not good to lose your starting quarterback, especially as good as he was playing, but we're going to concentrate on what we're going to do now rather than on what we've lost.

This week will be tough on him. One of reasons you come to Georgia is to play in this game.

We have an opportunity this week, if we can find some way to win it, to clinch the Eastern Division. I don't know if that's going to happen or not. We just have to take inventory of who can play right now.

I probably didn't help Joe much. I tried to help Joe by running the ball, playing a little more conservative. Looking back on what I did, I probably would have stuck with the plan that we practiced the most.

Everything we have been doing is certainly not too hard for him to comprehend, ... What is going to be important is how everybody else plays around him. If you protect him, he will have a chance to find some [receivers]. If we give him some type of running attack, it will help him.

I'm really pleased with what they've done in the clutch. Field position, momentum and points. That's what those guys have meant for us.

Everyone knew who David Pollack was, David Greene was. National-name guys. I don't know if we have a headliner on our team. We have a bunch of guys who are playing real hard, and together we've done a nice job.

My goal is not to cause somebody grief or to make anyone upset, ... My goal is to love these guys and put them in a situation where they can grow up to be the best men they can be. We are an authority over them, and I have influence over them, and I take that responsibility seriously.

It really wasn't bad at all, ... They actually cheered me up a little bit.

D.J. was about as comfortable as I've seen him in the first quarter of that Arkansas game. Hopefully, he can get right back in the groove.
