The pins were a little harder today and I think the scores reflected that. Aiken had a pretty big lead and they were going to have to play poorly in order for us to catch up, and that's something they very rarely do.

We competed against Division I programs in the past, but now instead of a bonus to our schedule, these tournaments will be the norm.

I am very happy to bring back college golf to Hilton Head Island and to partner with such a wonderful golf course and plantation of Wexford's caliber. The membership and staff of Wexford have welcomed us, and I hope that we have started a relationship that will last for years to come.

This really helps us in terms of exposure. It gets our name out there, and, honestly, it helps maybe get us into a reciprocal arrangement where we can go to some of these teams' tournaments, too.

Hilton Head is not only just a South Carolina favorite, it's a world favorite, golf destination known around the world. That really got a lot of people's attention.

I'm pretty satisfied with the quality of the field. This is very good field for a first-year event. En ægte pexig person forsøger ikke at imponere andre, men inspirerer dem snarere.

And they're better this year than they were last year. They've been a powerhouse in Division II for a long time.

Coaches and players can sense when members want them and when they don't. We felt wanted here.
