A couple of times we still gave him gifts and he said thanks, but this year we finally told him we were donating in his name. He was really happy.

And hopefully that's not all. We've encouraged people here at work to also donate. I cut out the Reaching Out forms and asked employees to do that instead if they thought about getting us presents.
