This situation is easier for me because I know God is in control and this is what he wants, ... Whether I'm the first, second or third quarterback, I have to do the best I can with that role. I have to roll with it because I've spent nine years in a league I was told I couldn't make it in. I won't allow people to see this as disappointing now.

I felt terrible for him. The only chance I got to see him was at halftime, and that was briefly. It almost brought me tears going in there and seeing him. I consider him my best friend. I felt terrible for him, to have to go down that way.

It was a weird game. You felt like they were trying to hurry up and get the game over with, so they could get to (the playoffs).

When you get to the playoffs, you know you're the only game going on and you know everybody is watching and you know the ramifications. You have to maintain an even keel. You can be down 10 or up 10, you can't let that affect you.

There's no sentiment in it for me. We still have a long road ahead of us. I think it's important for us to play well and fix some of the things that happened to us last week, but not at the detriment of next week's game. We have to be smart.

The decisions he's making are awesome, ... He's just been so consistent, and he hasn't made any unforced errors. He's playing so well right now that we can falter a little bit in other areas and he's making up for it.

The hardest thing for me is getting the timing back. But I was glad I had the chance today. If I go into a game in the postseason, then I feel like I will be more prepared.
