My game sucks right now.

It's tough, but it's beautiful. The way they did hole Nos. 4 and 7 will make a big difference. And the way they did 11 it's going to make the course play two or three shots harder.

I like it. You have to be a little more careful off the tee. The other (course) you could miss off the tee a little bit and get away with it. There's a lot more water here. It's a great golf course.

The course, I do like it. It's an awfully good golf course. If we could just stay somewhere for a while, it would be nice. Either this one or that one, but let's stop moving.

It can't just be five arbitrary accidents.

I hit the ball as hard as I can. If I can find it, I hit it again.

The people around me ... were hoping, of course, that the 'something' would be practicing golf. No such luck. What I found was gambling.

It's the truth. I'm not going to sidestep anything. It brings back memories of stupid stuff I've done in my life, and good stuff. It was honest.

But you know what? My cigarettes-popcorn-whiskey diet worked. The pounds just peeled right off. By Christmas, I'd lost 65 pounds. I probably ought to have written a diet book or something.

It's tough to match what the tour wants with what the publisher wants.

My life is unbecoming of a professional, basically.

I'm fine [now]. I can't get the money back. [It was] stupid. It had it and burned it. I've got to move on.

Harper Collins wanted to change it. They changed it about eight times. Too many cuss words. The whole book is not just about gambling, it's just life. A lot of good things, and a lot of bad things. It was kind of therapeutic talking about it. I'm 40, and it was cool to get one out now. And, hopefully, there'll be a sequel or a movie, maybe.

If I don't get control of my gambling, it's going to flat-out ruin me.
