I think things have been about as normal around here as they can be without having your head coach around. I can't wait to see his face around here again.

I feel like I played all right. I played well. I wish we could have punched in a couple of more touchdowns while I was in there and made this thing a little closer.

He's really just calling in the plays. But, sometimes I need to hear it one or two (extra) times and he gets kind of irritated with me. He's pretty good with that thing. I just have to tell him he doesn't have to yell in it, he just has to talk.

You do the same thing day in and day out, you start to get pretty good at it.

It's more beneficial than it is tough. The tough part is he asks you questions you really don't know the answer to, and you have to try to answer them. He's really good at teaching, as well as playing. He's helped me out a ton.

It changes the whole mentality of the team. You go from winning 13 straight — if we would have lost three straight, it would have been the other end of the spectrum. But I like where we're at.

That was my goal, just to get the respect of the guys, to know I can go out there and help them win. They know I can play well, but the mark of a quarterback is if you win.

I just put my head down when they snapped the ball. It just seemed like everything was going against us. Finally something went with us.

I'm excited, it's about time. I've been ready to play all year. I'm excited about getting some time and some significant time.

When we hit a big play, you can tell by his voice he's pumped up. When we don't get second-and-one or third-and-one, like we did (last) Saturday, you can tell he's disappointed and mad. It's like both of us are out there playing.
