I was struggling with my serve from the start and she was putting pressure on it. She played great, but I came through at the end to hold. We competed well, it was just a point here or there.

Anna-Lena played very well, she served very well and I struggled a little bit with my serve. She took advantage of that.

She came out determined to win and she was hot from the start.

The more you play top-10 players, the more you get used to just being out there, getting used to the atmosphere. The mental attitude has a lot to do with it, and that's what has improved with me.

That went through my head, just like everybody else. I just tried to stay in the moment and rally and just keep rallying.

I gained a lot of confidence with my play in that tournament that will hopefully carry over to this event.
