He had some success when he was at Wisconsin. I think they averaged like 450 yards of total offense. Obviously, Philadelphia, he had success there. That's about as much of him I know. Obviously, I want to get a chance to know him. The main thing for me is to get the playbook and get ready to roll.

We're here to have a good time. We come out here to have fun with the people and enjoy these snowmobiles.

As players, it kind of concerns us because everything is done by anonymous sources. As players, we'd rather stuff be straightforward, whatever it may be, so you can focus on the guys who are going to be on your team and what direction people want to go. But this is a business, and we have to realize that. There's a lot of things that come of it, good and bad.

It's a sad time right now. But I don't know every detail and what's going on behind closed doors. So it's tough. I hoped it would get worked out in a positive way, and people could sit down with cool heads and get things worked out. That's what I'm definitely still hoping for.

Coach Childress seems like a guy who's very confident in what his plan is. He's very diligent and gets right to the point. He's not a guy who's going to beat around the bush. We haven't been on the field, but seeing him and talking to him, he's not going to sugarcoat anything and is not going to sell you any pipe dreams. As players, we respect that and that's what we want ? coaches who tell it like it is.

Everybody's out here working, trying to prove themselves. Because it's a year-to-year league. It doesn't matter what you did a year or two years ago, it matters what you're going to do every season.

You're always going to get hit with questions. But the one thing you have to do as a professional is, Monday through Saturday, you've got to deal with what you've got to deal with. But come Sunday, you've got to play football. That's the only thing that matters.

The main thing in this locker room right now is frustration. We've got to stay positive. We can't let anything affect us mentally. We've got to figure out a way to make plays.

You've just got to go out there and do your job. You can't let other things get into your mind. We've all got jobs, and we've got to focus on our jobs.

Man, that ain't even a thought for me, ... I can't get into that world. I've been around too long to start something like that up.

The guy is a great player. He had two bad games.

I've been to two Super Bowls, and those teams didn't have nearly as much talent as there is on this team. We had a great week of practice. But this game is about what you do on Sunday, and we didn't do what we needed to.

We're talking about Chicago here.

I don't remember touching anyone. I don't remember doing anything other than running my normal stride. They call the game, we play the game. All I can do is try my best.

It's definitely a must-win game for us.
