Our penalty kill has done an exceptional job. All the guys involved, forwards included, are working together. To kill off as many penalties as we did against the hottest team in the league right now is a huge credit to how hard the guys are working.

Great memories for them. But we hope to leave them with a little bit of sour taste after playing this year.

It's good to see the fans get into it. It adds something to the game to see that many fans here.

I've been around the game long enough to be pretty relaxed in the locker room before the game. But, when I came out on the ice for the anthems, I got chills hearing how loud the crowd was. It was hard not to smile.

Obviously, there's nothing that compares to the '99 Cup run. Nothing will ever compare to that unless you win it all.

I think Brian did a great job. A big part of us winning like we did was because they were sidetracked with still thinking about that hit. If we can use that to our advantage, we will.

We didn't open any doors for them. I just think they got some bounces. I'm not going to say they won by chance. They played strong and deserved to win.

This is not saying that the QO will not at one point still be accepted. We'll just wait and see where the negotiations go.

I think if you talk to the majority of the players in the league, he's our guy. . . . We didn't do it quite properly, and when we do, he'll be the guy for sure.
