He had some rough times last year. Is he probably in his tip-top precision? He threw the ball well. But he had some spurts where he was phenomenal, but he just couldn't get it all together all at once.

Yeah, that's a testament to our pitching. I think that's what's going to matter in the long haul. It builds momentum to win those one-run games.

He's got electric stuff that is downright filthy. His ball has some serious giddy-up out there.

He had good stuff. It was a matter of just honing it in to where he wanted to throw it.
