We all knew it was only a matter of time before the offense started to come around. I think guys finally started to relax a little bit. Now we're coming up with that big hit, driving in that big run.

That's the way this team works. We score a lot of runs in one inning because we work pitchers and work walks and eventually there is no room to put anybody else.

This was huge especially after the way they beat us yesterday. They don't quit. It's fortunate we kept adding on and didn't let them come back.

Without the veteran ball club we have, we could have very easily gotten swept, especially against a pitcher like Brad. They beat Mo last night, and this could have turned into a disaster. You give away a game, then get beat, and it turns into something bad. We got the taste out of our mouths.

This is the best I've felt the last couple of years. It was nice to come back and be able to work out right from the get-go after the way I finished the year last year.

It's more on my arm than my wrist. That's good. Right now I think I'll be OK. We'll see.

You don't want to find yourself coming to the ballpark, giving away a win and then the next day, you get beat.
