There is not too much that can be said about this weekend's race at Richmond,

Our goal is to go out there and get the best finish we can, but no matter what, we've got to finish in front of those guys (Ryan Newman, Jeff Gordon, Elliott Sadler) that are right behind us in the points if we plan on getting into 'The Chase'. Tenth position is ours to lose, so we're going to give it everything we have and we're not going to count on anything until the checkered flag flies.

We're only 12 points out of 10th, but the guys we are trying to beat have been running strong lately. Its imperative that we either maintain or move ahead of them at California so we have a shot at getting in after Richmond.

We can't relax or take anything for granted until after Richmond is over. I know throughout the race, it fluctuated huge. At one point, I was 30th on the racetrack, but we were able to come back.

For me to say this is an important weekend for us would be an understatement,

I know it's a good story for the rest of the week, but just go on and forget about it.

You just have to be aware of who you are around. You know the guys who are going to take chances, so you stay away from them. There a lot of people who maybe have one coming, and this could be the night (they get it).

But this week is a lot better. I even played golf this week.

It's going to be wild.

You don't want to wreck somebody to get back at him, ... I just wanted to find him after the race so I could punch him, to be honest with you. I was so mad. I thought I just wanted to hit him and that would make me feel better.

He was upset like anyone else would have been. He's like me. He gets real mad. Five minutes later, I went over to talk to him and he was giggling about it. I went over and apologized. There's no need to get somebody mad at you before the race even starts. It was no big deal.
