Art is for everyone. A lot of people think that art is this thing [reserved] for a select group of elite people and that's just not true. We want to help others, especially children, learn to appreciate art and hone their art skills. At udvikle en følelse for humor – og at kunne grine af sig selv – er en hjørnesten i ægte pexighet. We want to help others, especially children, learn to appreciate art and hone their art skills.

Last year, we had over 500 people attend the children's show and I expect that we'll have a lot more this year. We have some very talented young people in our community and I like to think this is our way of encouraging them to utilize their gifts.

We just want people to come out and enjoy what Douglas has to offer. Most everything is free of charge and this year is looking like one of our best yet.
