I feel we can compete with anyone. We have to play a good game and we can't make any mistakes.

Everybody got in the act.

They run a real good motion offense. I've talked to a couple of college coaches and that's one of the things they've said. Their outside shooting is a big concern. Their quickness is also a concern, but we're pretty quick, too.

(Roncalli) backed off of him and gave him that shot. A lot of times people think that we just try to get the ball inside ... but we can shoot the 3, too.

I thought that they were one of the finest shooting teams that we have played. When they could catch and face they were tough, they worked hard and caused problems for us.

Those two play better as a tandem then anybody I have had.

A lot of people thought that Roncalli had the best chance to beat us and they took us right to the end. With the offense that they run, they had us all spread out.

I told him, 'I hope you're not mad at me now' after the game. I got on him (at halftime). It wasn't his game.

This is one of our better games of the year. Defensively, offensively shooting the ball, the fast break ? everything.

His whole game improved because he worked at it during the summer. That's when you become better. One thing very unique about him is, he is, by far, the best tipper I ever coached. Sometimes in practice and in games, he just amazed me.

I thought our overall defense was exceptionally good tonight. I was pleased with that.

They've got height and quickness and they're going to be ready. I know it's important to our guys to go in there and play them tough, so that's what we're going to do.

We're taking one game at a time. I was really worried about tonight - they were 11-2 and leading the (Wisconsin) Little 10 (at 6-0).

Our defense is good. I think it's at a high level now.

Actually, I thought we looked more tired in our last two games. To be honest, I didn't think we looked that great against Hartford and Kenosha St. Joe's. I think I may have been pushing these guys a little too hard. So tonight I told them to just play your game. Play loose and have fun.
