We've been doing it this way since the 1980s, and you can't change midstream and go to electronic, for instance, because we wouldn't be using the same formula. We conduct the same survey in the same manner at the same time of year every three to five years. It helps us to know our strengths and weaknesses. This is a major time of change and growth in our community. We've completed a lot of projects since the last survey, so now we want to know what the big issues are -- school safety, or too much emphasis on sports, or whatever it may be.

We talk to anyone in the community. There are times when we have just parent surveys or just student surveys. But this one is for anyone over 18 in a household.

We haven't had a huge issue with it here, but we were shocked at how many kids were using the site.
