I got the F-bomb my first day on the job. I was still stuttering around and scared and hadn't said more than three or four words when he hit me with it. I was shocked at first, but when I told everyone about they cheered and my supervisor gave me some candy.

I called some lady once and after I told her who I was she just said 'You have ugly shoes!' and hung-up.

I usually just tell the kid that I can hear his dad talking and to put him on the phone. But it's sad when the parents have taught their kids to lie at such a young age, especially when they claim they don't like telemarketers because the telemarketers are liars-it's parents like them that the bad telemarketers get it from!
