It's good to win one because if we lost we would have been even further back.

Sometimes you get streaks in a game. Cold and hot streaks and I think we just found that streak and we just started playing hot defensively.

I was always amazed, a guy almost 40 years old and he was diving for the ball and hustling every single play. He was amazing. Everything he did was a great example.

I think we forced them to play our game in the third quarter. The first half was kind of just fighting back and forth. Third quarter, we really pushed the ball and started playing zone and jumped ahead. I think we kind of broke them in the third quarter.

This was very important for us. We're still alive. We are keeping our heads in the game and in the race.

We just have to start winning. Every game is important. We still have chances. We're still in the race. Win, no matter how. That is all there is to it.

I think everybody did a good job helping each other out in the first half, not only Carlos, Mehmet, and myself. I would say that (rookie Deron Williams ) and Kris Humphries were also very helpful. It was a good effort all-around and we were able to establish a comfortable lead for the second half.

I wouldn't say we had lots of energy but we did a pretty good job on concentrating and focusing on the game, and we held down Portland defensively except for the fourth quarter when Zach Randolph started scoring. I think we held them good. Offensively, we just executed well and didn't give them any chance.

I'm glad there was little investigation, because definitely this was not a situation for a technical. I just think sometimes things get too sensitive for referees.

We don't have a good chance (to make the playoffs), it's a bad chance. But we have a chance, which is good. We have to win a lot of games, but we still feel like we can do it.

Four more games. We still have a chance, so let's fight.

They fought us. They didn't give up. Zach Randolph was trying to win.

I felt that this game was a playoff game. This crowd was a huge help for them (the Hornets). I'm very happy that we stayed as a team. Even when we had a tough stretch at the beginning we still stayed together.

Having Jon on our side has made the team so much stronger. It has made us real contenders for the Euro title.

He is one of the three best point guards in Europe, and without a doubt he will strengthen our team. He knows how to play, and we've had no problems understanding one another on or off the floor.
