I think actually coming out of the tournament this year, we're better than we were coming out last year.

It will be a great tournament to watch. It's always been good, but never this good ... There will be some unbelievable games in the next few weeks.

It was a great, great tournament. I'm really glad for Gerry. He started his career a little bit, probably a little bit too good, and where are you going to go after that? But he's come back and had four great years for us. He's got unbelievable heart; he really does.

Gerry had as good a four games here as anybody I've ever seen. He just wanted to win.

For Josh Wright, who hadn't played much, to do what he did was outstanding. We needed all four of those and it took a lot of guts for him to get all four.

I think the thing fans admire and I admire is the way Gerry plays hard all the time. He knows no other speed than full speed. When he makes a mistake, it's an effort-mistake. Most guys make mistakes because they don't give enough effort. That's never been the case with Gerry.

He's won more games with last-second shots, free throws and play-making than any player we've ever had. It's not even close.

I believe his achievements are more than many people realize. He's going to finish his career in some pretty good company.

We've been to the finals a lot and we want to play well. It will be a tough game.

I think Pittsburgh is a top 10 team. I always have all year. That's a great challenge for us.

He'll be remembered for his heart. He's a unique player. We've been fortunate to have him here for four years.

We gave them four wide open shots at the beginning of the game. You can't do that against a quality team like Villanova.

Our biggest problem has been defending people. Offensively we played pretty well but it's pretty disappointing at this time of the year that we can't stop people on defense. We're fortunate we've won as many games in our conference as we have playing the defense we have all year.

I'm disappointed at this stage of the year that we're not a better defensive team, and that's why we're in the position we're in.
