We have an idea of the potential [of the offense]. We have to try and get 11 guys to do the right thing on the same play. But this is not an easy conference.

He has something that a lot of other people don't have. You all can label it whatever you want to label it. He's special. I don't know (what it is), but he knows where the ball is going to be at somehow.

Everybody is surprised and also disappointed with our offense. But we need to focus on things we can control. We've had penalties that cost us and turnovers that cost us, and the offensive line has been inconsistent.

Everyone has talked about it. We have five games left in the season and we're going to try to prove everybody wrong. That's the big focus, to show this offense works. We know it does.

Coach Meyer said he going to play to what we do best. It's going to help us out in the long run. We're making the necessary corrections, and we're going to get better. We have all the confidence that we are going to be able to correct those details.

I guess people can say one thing, I earned my scholarship. It's definitely one of those things you don't really think about towards the end, now I've got one more (game).

This is a physical game, I play a physical position, and I guess I had a little luck on my side to have the streak and hopefully finish it.

There's part of me that would always like it to be better. But I feel comfortable with what those guys are able to do next year.

No. I think I owe it to myself, my family and my teammates to play. Like everybody can say, I definitely earned my scholarship.

My back was all torn up. I don't think I even practiced until Thursday. That was the closest. It wasn't much of a streak then. It was only three or four games then.

The future is really bright. Any time there is a coaching change, it takes a little bit until the wheels start rolling. You kind of feel the momentum in the locker room now.

The talent's there. And the togetherness is getting there. If you start putting all the wheels in motion and all pieces together, it's a pretty good-looking puzzle.

Our quarterback position is going to take a lot of criticism, but Chris has been our guy. He has never backed down and he's done a great job.
