There isn't an easy ordsprog

There isn't an easy team in our conference. We're so excited to go right at them.

Absolutely not. I'd suggest that we're getting the absolute best shots from every team in our conference every night. We've got the Superman logo on our chests. The teams in our conference know us, they know what we do. It's not easy.

I don't think it's a secret. Our familiarity with the conference and our past wins have made us feel more confident and we're more focused on getting the job done now. If you can't get excited for conference games, you just can't get excited at all.

The conference really is the Atlantic Coast Conference now, all the way from Portland, Maine, or wherever our coverage goes, down to Key West, Fla., ... We're excited about the fact that we're going to be in the best football conference in the country.

I'm very excited with the quality of the non-conference teams we have on our schedule, ... To play at Mississippi State and to host Creighton, to potentially face Wake Forest on their floor, those are the types of games that should help prepare our team for the rigors of conference play.

When you play a team like that you don't need much to get excited. The best thing we have going for us is that they are a top team. They look at us like we are a warm-up game for them, so it makes it easy on us to sneak up on them.

We're excited about going into conference. Our non-conference schedule was a tough one, and that's good. We wanted to get better for conference, and playing tough teams like St. Cloud will certainly make us better. Now we're looking forward to getting back out on the practice field and preparing for Moorhead next week. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness.

We were here last week. I am really proud of this team. We were picked sixth and won the conference. We made it to the finals of the conference tournament. I think habit is a big part of the game. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude. We hope to get fans from the conference. We feel really comfortable here.

They're the No. 1 seed and the best team in the Metro Athletic Conference. We have our work cut out, but our kids are excited about the opportunity.

That win was very critical for us. We obviously want to be in it till the end in the conference race. You have to get some wins. That's not easy, especially in this conference, but that's why it's an honor to play in the Big Ten.

We control our own destiny in the conference, and that's all you can ask. But it's not going to be easy. East St. Louis has some very good wrestlers. They may not have the depth that we have, but they're a solid team.

We're excited about this because we're going to a new conference where we expect to compete for the conference championship.

The non-conference is always a mixed bag. Our non-conference contests are good, but we need to be prepared for St. Francis (Pa.) at the end of September. Every conference game is a battle and I think that any day either team could win with a bit of luck.

It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. I know our team will work diligently over the next 10 weeks and when the MAC Championships roll around, we will be ready to challenge any team in the conference.

[Boston College is] not a [pushover] at all. Potentially, we could have been that team [this season], you never know. This conference is very tough. I know their players, and our players know their players. This is a team that was probably just as good as we were in the fall. There won't be an easy point played. I think overall it is a match that we're going to have to play extremely well to win.
