en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

en But the biggest thing we have to do is just believe we can win. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. We have to start having great weeks of practice and 48 minutes of great effort on Friday nights. At times the players are looking, or expecting, bad things to happen. We have to go out and make good things happen.

en It's something I had to pull out of myself and get it going. That's why we're here for Spring Training. You figure those things out. The first two weeks, I had my head up my [rear end]. I pulled it out and finally figured it out. It's not going to happen again. I won't let it happen.

en We've got six weeks to go, so a lot of things can happen.

en I hope we can get something done in the next couple of weeks. But too many things can happen on the way to the forum for me to say we definitely will.

en We have learned in the past weeks that bad things can happen very fast.

en A lot can happen in the next few weeks. Two of the main things teams need to do is to keep everybody healthy and believe in yourself to know you can do it.

en It will be a consideration, of course, ... But with two weeks to go (before the final cut) there's things that could happen. If it was today we'd have to do that, yeah.

en It's not easy. I just happen to catch a couple weeks where I'm doing a lot of things right and I'm putting well.

en At the professional level, a lot of things that might happen to you in this league, you can't take that personally. Same thing goes outside these walls. Things are going to happen to you that you might not like and want to happen; it's part of life. You move on, you keep pushing forward. It isn't over till it's over, you know.

en We wanted to try and get the qualifying time out of the way during the winter season. But we had a few things happen that prevented that. So we took a shot here, and now we have some options for the next few weeks.

en People sometimes say that the way things happen in the movies is unreal, but actually it's the way things happen to you in life that's unreal. The movies make emotions look so strong and real, whereas when things really do happen to you, it's like watching television -- you don't feel anything.

en There are some things I'd like to do. We've made some conversations with people, and some things may happen. But the tendency in this league is a lot of conversation and things don't tend to happen until you get close to the (trade) deadline.

en The next three weeks we've got our work cut out for us. I don't think things look bleak. We've got to be optimistic. If we win some games, things could turn around real quick ... . Like I told the guys, we're gonna have to get hot for three weeks.

en Things went kind of slow for them midway through the season, but they have picked things up the last couple of weeks. They've been very good the last few weeks.
