I would be very disappointed if we don't finish top of the overall medal table, and by a comfortable margin.

We haven't got 19 medal chances, like we have had before. There is no margin for error. Everyone who is expected to win a medal must if the target of six is to be met.

We are unable to set a target at this point. UK Sport's ultimate goal … is to finish fourth in the 2012 Olympic medal table, finishing as top European nation, and retain our second place in the Paralympics, whilst aiming for the top spot.

I felt a mixture of emotions. I was obviously disappointed about not playing in the final game, but a medal is a medal and our team worked hard for it. So, I'm happy about that.

I'm happy where I finished, but at the same time I was really fighting for that spot up there on the medal podium. I am a little disappointed. Actually, I'm a lot disappointed. It's so close, but just out of reach.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the end, but not disappointed with everything we saw tonight. I thought we put on a good enough performance to win if we just finish our chances.

Our hope on the girls side for the four relays is for all of them to medal. We think they all have the potential to finish in the top 10 ? hopefully in the top six. For the boys, we're hoping for a fairly high finish for both. None of them are seniors ? they're all juniors and down. We still think we can get top-15 finishes from them. Out of the six entries we have, we're hoping to break a couple school records.

He was disappointed in his finish, but I wasn't. He had two lifetime-best swims, so you can't be too disappointed. He swam well. It's a tough task to make it to state.

I know Tony was disappointed in himself and Philippe (Lopez, the crew chief) was disappointed in himself. To me, I like that. I walked away saying not bad, a top 25 finish, but the fact that those guys expected more of themselves, that's encouraging.

We got comfortable with the lead. We kind of let back a little bit. I reminded (the girls) not to let down. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. We still have a game to finish. We can't get comfortable.

We're obviously disappointed for the spectators who were unable to see the finish. We all wanted to see a finish, obviously.

Its always an honor to touch and feel the medal around the dinner table.
