We started out well ordsprog

en We started out well and we were able to get a lead, then we just went away from what we were doing. We had way too many turnovers. When you give the ball up 28 times like we did against Jackson, it's hard to beat any team doing that.

en I think if you look at the M.O. of this team all year, we have had trouble making stops. We have turned the ball over, we lead the league in turnovers, points of turnovers, and assist-to-turnovers. I keep telling them if you want to play playoff basketball, you've got to take care of the ball and execute. We don't get it and we have to keep working on it.

en We stopped moving the ball. We started standing around and basically going one-on-one a lot. You can't beat a team that is playing for a playoff position with 20 turnovers. You just can't do it.

en This was going to be a challenge for us because Pacelli was the biggest team we have played this season. We didn't keep them from getting the ball inside, and as a result they took the lead. Once we started pressing their guards, we forced turnovers and moved things our way.

en I think it is hard to beat a team three times. That was not an easy game. Even with a 20-point lead, I didn't feel comfortable until the fourth quarter.

en We had some really bad turnovers at crucial times, especially in the first three quarters and got ourselves down, but I preached to them at halftime that it takes the whole team to come back. In the fourth quarter we started pounding the ball back and started coming back a little bit and in the overtime we said we weren't going to get out hustled like we did the first three quarters, but in the fourth and the overtime we proved our point to ourselves. It was a total team effort tonight.

en When a team shoots as well as they were... it's hard to beat them. That's about all you can say about that. We were down 14, cut it to 5 and had the ball several times, but just lost the handle on it.

en Give them credit, they played hard, and we didn't play smart enough. A lot of times they beat us to the ball. That's not supposed to happen.

en We locked down defensively to get the lead. We got to do what we wanted to do offensively. We didn't turn the ball over. We forced turnovers early and turnovers late. We took care of the basketball and didn't give them chances to score out of our offense.

en Against them it is fatal if you give away turnovers. We have looked at their games and they score 80 percent of their tries from turnovers. It is simply a matter of making sure you don't give them any turnovers and that you look after the ball for the entire game.

en There were two things we needed to do well coming into this game. Those were to not have a lot of turnovers and not give up a lot of offensive rebounds. And we give up 27 turnovers and 23 offensive rebounds. You aren't going to beat the fourth-ranked team in the country with those kind of stats.

en "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We've got to take care of the football. We can't turn the ball over that many times and beat very many people. But we've got to create turnovers too to beat people.

en We lead the league in turnovers. Did you see them press on us? It's every game. We have few assists and a lot of turnovers. As much as we have trouble as we have guarding people, to give up 30 points on turnovers, it's even more difficult.

en Watkins is the only game where we've gotten beat really bad. They handled us both times. They're just a good team. They hit the ball really hard. We were in the other games. It's a situation here or there.

en It's so hard to beat a quality team that can give you fits every night (three times in a row). The kids were totally focused.
