It's unfortunate when a guy who could play like that and have the ability that he had is not be able to play. He was one of the few guys who could shoot the three, break you down and post up.
Maurice Cheeks
Guys are not getting enough shots. Shoot every time they touch it. Instead of executing the play, they break every play down. It's pretty hard to have any kind of team concept with that.
Jerry Sloan
He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.
Ryan Tomlin
(Virginia) is almost like a mirror image of us. They play a lot like we do. Their guard play is very good. Their post guys are very physical. They're aggressive and they play extremely hard. Dave's done a great job of getting those guys to believe they can be successful in this league.
Frank Haith
What it really does [if you're a player] is it gives you an ability to play more. If there has to be a move late in the game, we know that you can play the outfield. Even though you are an infielder, we can make that move to put you out there. The more positions you play, the more opportunity there is to play. And I think these guys know that, and it gives these guys a lot of versatility as far as moves go.

I think it's an advantage for us to have to play a Monday night game, because it gives us two wins in a row, big wins, that really have everyone in that locker room feeling pretty confident about their ability to shoot the basketball and our ability to play at a high level. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. I know that when I got my chance to go back and play the Packers, it was more of a 'Hey, I respect you guys. I like you guys, but it'll be even that much sweeter to beat you guys,' ... I'm sure they feel the same way. We respect those guys. They went to another team to make more money, and we're not mad at them. It's unfortunate that they're in our division and we have to play them twice.
Matt Hasselbeck
It was a play where I pass it to the right post and they were supposed to, on the opposite side, set a screen for Mike (Jensen). But the play got messed up as I was watching. I was like, 'Oh, wow, I've got to shoot this one,' because no one was popping out and everybody looked a little confused.
Brandon Roy
I listen to the big guy. That's who I play for. If he says go out there and shoot the ball 50 times, that's what I'm going to do. I just follow his orders, follow his lead, and try to play the way he wants me to play, to the best of my ability.

She's in there banging away. We ask her to play a post defense and she doesn't mind at all. She doesn't get pushed around by anybody. She uses her quickness to her advantage to shoot in and out of passing lanes that other posts usually can't get into. She gives up a lot because of her size but because of her ability, quickness and strength, she's able to overcome those shortcomings.
Mike Kerr
At the beginning of the season, people were saying we had one of the best young backcourts in the nation or whatever, and we kind of got away from our big men. We are really just trying to do too much in the guard play and not enough in the post play and really the post play is what makes the guard play.

He's got ball handling ability, he can shoot the 3(-pointer) and he's unaccustomed to being in the post. The first thing I told him when I got here was, 'Son, you're going to be in the post,' and he's accepted that.
John Patterson
I don't care who is on the other team. If they only have five guys to play with we're trying to win. It's unfortunate for them and fortunate for us. Sometimes when your best player isn't in the lineup that's usually when a team can be very dangerous because they play together and they play real loose.
Vince Carter
They're thinking I'll be playing post a lot. It's gonna be hard to guard me on the post because I'm very quick, and I can shoot from the outside, too. It's gonna be a lot harder than high school. I can't wait to play against the best.
