en Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

en I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

en The team gave a great effort today on every single play of the game. They hung in there and fought until the end. They had to play literally every play of the game but they did it fighting as hard as they could.

en It sure seemed like the game counted for something. Both teams wanted to win. I know that they didn't come here to lose and we didn't want to lose. I knew it was going to be a good hard-fought football game.

en That was a game. That was one heck of a game. That was one of those games that nobody deserved to lose. Mitchell Davidson did a heck of a job for us, but (Ryan) Tucker did a great job for them. We were just fortunate enough to win.

en We knew coming into this game that it was going to be a difficult and hard fought game for 40 minutes. I thought that Eastern played with an exceptional effort today.

en It's hard to explain, every game is important especially with a team we're trying to chase. For us not to have that sense of urgency like it's a playoff game it's a shame. We should've been focused and executed the game plan and just gave an all-out effort, which we didn't.

en We hung tough, played real hard and, gradually, got one back, then dragged it into overtime. It was a hard-fought game, a good game, a very competitive hockey game.

en We get every team's best effort every night. Montello battled like I thought they would. This was the type of physical hard fought game I expected.
