en We've kind of made curling our dream. If other people like it, it validates the fact that we've put everything else on hold.

en It's been quite a phenomenon, really. Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. Curling was on quite late in the evening. It was about midnight or after that, in fact, by the time the game finished. We got an audience of 6.3 million that stayed up to watch the curling final. Now there are only five million people in Scotland, so clearly they weren't all Scots.

en I've got to pinch myself to see if this is real. This kind of validates the program now. It kind of validates a coaching career, too, I guess.

en Hopefully we'll get some more people involved. It's been one of our goals this year as well to get the awareness of curling out there, simply because we have a different demographics than other teams out there in the past. We were hoping we could entice a few more young people to get out there and try curling.

en Any victory is good for Italian curling. We are probably not the favorites for the medal. Our goal is to show people curling. If we win some, that is OK.

en We're getting a fabulous response on our Web site. We're getting e-mails from across the United States. We're getting them from people who don't live near a curling club. There are piles of them from people who are looking for a curling club.

en That kind of hold is just remarkable by anybody's standards. By the end of the third week, we'll be at the $200 million level. It's one of those kind of dream stories.

en If the right people want to do it I think it's kind of a fun idea and innovative and hopefully it will get curling some publicity.

en It's amazing the support we've gotten from the military people. People (who) said before they made jokes about curling now have some respect for it.

en When I was in first grade, everyone made fun of my name, of course. I think it's kind of a big name to hold up when you're nine years old. It seemed goofy. I used to tell people I wanted to change the world and they used to think, 'This kid's really weird'.

en Somehow in the confines in his mind, he started putting together this dream, which is how he described it to his peer group. The police didnt want to talk about the dream, and the next thing, it was a fact. In his initial statements, it was a dream, he wasnt sure about it and they filled in the blanks for him.

en I am looking forward to watching the United States compete in the curling and ice hockey events. Curling is a very interesting sport because it's like shuffleboard on ice.

en Defeating such a big curling nation as Canada, it's colossal. As far as Scottish curling goes, it's huge. There's a lot of pride at stake, making sure we do ourselves justice.

en It's unbelievable. It (the ice) was curling awesome and the speed was great, and it was an exciting final. We were 4-4 at one point and just wanted to do Alberta proud. It's a dream come true.
