en I like what I see happening since I've been here, and I've been here a long time. It would be the best thing ever if we could take it to the next level and win the (Stanley) Cup.

en I went to New York with one thing in mind, to win a Stanley Cup, ... When the time came, Glen Sather asked me where I wanted to go and I said I'd like to go to New York and win a Stanley Cup. He was able to make it happen.

en I liken what's happening there to what's happening to our men's basketball team and Coach [Dennis] Felton. He's building the program and getting guys who do things right to make a foundation which will last for a long, long time.

en The protest in 1999 certainly raised the level of discussion that wasn't happening before. It's a valuable thing to bring all these groups together to continue to improve the level of inclusion on highway projects, but we are still not there yet.

en I sense a groundswell happening of popular opinion against this war and against this administration. It's been a long time coming, and I'm glad to see it's happening.

That takes some time to learn. Matthew has really played only three seasons, so he's still a pup. It took Steve Young that long to find it. Brett took that long.

en The incidents in Nigeria are happening at a time when geopolitical events seem to be happening at a near-continuous rhythm ? such as production problems in Iraq, tensions in Iran and in Venezuela. It's a long list and it fosters a climate of very volatile oil markets.

en Stanley lived on his own for many years after his wife passed away. Stanley had a cat that was his constant companion. She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. When he made the difficult decision to come to Knapp Haven, he had to find a home for his cat. Stanley misses that cat, but I think Sophie has filled that hole.
