Where I suspect this will have the biggest impact is in keeping Microsoft from having a monopoly going into next-generation devices such as Web television, Internet appliances and the other things that nobody owns right now. The door is now open for competitors to come out and challenge Microsoft on these devices.

Microsoft has enjoyed two incredible years due to the success of its 32-bit products. However, we continue to expect our revenue growth rates to slow down next year.

We are running some programs with Palm and some with WinCE. Execs like Palm, and the sales force likes CE. It all depends on what you use it for.

We don't think the J105 range will cannibalize our Intel sales and have no interest in switching people from Intel to AMD.

Market share for these two companies has eroded significantly, and sales of their most profitable products have plummeted.

At some point the sales of non-PC computing devices are going to exceed those of PCs, at least in terms of units, and no way is Intel going to have the kind of market dominance it has in the PC market--there are just so many different types of devices, standards, and vendors.
