No, I didn't expect this to happen. Historically, shows do not win the Emmy in their first year, ... I've been very selective about what roles I've decided to take, from 'Party of Five' to 'Lost.'

What's not here are those shows on the WB, like 'The Gilmore Girls,' which the TV Critics Association of America tells us is the best show on television, .. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. . Why didn't it get any Emmy nominations? And what about 'Scrubs'? ... It's holding its own, critics love it, viewers love it, but Emmy voters aren't watching it, because it's too young skewing, and the geezer Emmy voters have a demographic a little north of what 'Scrubs' viewers are.

This shows a lot of character, a lot of fight. We lost a tough one to Florida State and we didn't want anything to happen like last year in overtime. We came out and fought and put pressure on them.

It's a Zen thing. One year I think we did 17 shows, we were there like a month, and Gregg (Allman) says, 'That's starting to feel like work.' Then we decided to cut back and create more demand. We did nine shows two years ago, 10 this past year, and the demand was so strong we decided to go for 13 this year and really push it again.

We were very proud of ourselves for 'Project Runway.' It just shows that even if you don't have a big budget - but you have a great concept and you have great people on the show - you can still be a success and get an Emmy nomination! So we said, 'You know what, let's just throw our own little party,'

These girls probably didn't expect their roles to change quite as much as they did, but they've handled it with class. Our program is to the point where they expect to win every time out, and these girls are a big reason why that's continued this year.

By jogging memories as well as creating wonderful moments by having them performed on this year's Emmy show, we think we're giving viewers one more reason to tune in and be entertained. I think we've got some great television moments in this year's broadcast and our Emmy Idol performances are just the tip of the iceberg.

Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

They could have been down after the Pittsville loss, but they weren't. We had lost to this team earlier in the year and they (Columbus) played well. It just shows the difference from one night to the next what can happen.

Compared to last year, it's not a party, but historically, it's not so bad,

Last year was an exceptional team (in terms of chemistry), but we had been together for two years. This team is brand new. The parts were all there. You were just hoping that the parts would come together and learn their roles. I didn't expect it this soon. I expected it hopefully more next year. But it came together a lot quicker than anticipated.

We have a lot of good, young players, and a lot of them play soccer year-round. Anything can happen. We didn't expect to be where we are now. Our goal is to sneak a game or two from the big three this year. And next year, there's no reason why we can't be competitive with anyone.

Last year was a lost year for him, and we're lucky anything worse didn't happen.

There are certain television theme songs that are nearly as memorable as the shows connected to them. By jogging memories as well as creating wonderful moments by having them performed on this year's Emmy show, we think we're giving viewers one more reason to tune in and be entertainment.

I didn't think we had a chance, but we've run much better and the guys that have been around us in points have had some trouble and haven't run as well the second half of the year and had some things happen to them, too, ... I didn't really expect it. We're not in it yet. We still have another week to go.
