They don't have a very good team. They need to spend some money. They've got too many young guys and too many old guys, and they need pitching bad.

As I look around the American League, it's as balanced as it's been. Boston will be good, the Yankees will be good, the Blue Jays ... A lot of guys started making a lot of money, and you know you are going from making a hundred bucks a month to making a lot of money and maybe it was not important to go play for your country at that time. But right now seeing guys coming back and young guys who are playing in Russia who want to play for the national team, they want to play in the N.H.L. but at the same time they want to be part of the national team. Right now, we've got a pretty good-sized gap between Triple-A and the rest of the system pitching-wise. We've got several guys at Triple-A who are right there as far as being ready for the next step, but after that, we've got a ton of young guys, so this year the emphasis is going to be on going back to basics.
