en We're looking forward to hosting the tournament. We're especially happy to have a lot of teams from the Gulf Coast. Those teams have re-formed, and they're coming to play.

en We're definitely looking forward to our trip. The guys are excited. It's a nice thing for us to have a chance to play some other (NCAA) Division III schools on this trip. Granted, these teams will all have their 15 to 20 games in while we're just starting out, but we'll be playing teams that we match up with a little bit better compared to the NAIA teams. We're looking forward to a fun trip.

en We're definitely looking forward to wrestling at home again. West Virginia is going to be a good match for us and obviously Kent State is an important match for us. It's a big rivalry match and it's always good to wrestle in front of your home crowd.

en As I told the guys, we still have a glimmer of hope. We just have to take them one game at a time. We have North Pulaski coming to our place on Friday. We haven't been playing well at home — for whatever reason. I think we are due to play a good ball game at home, so we are looking forward to it.

en I've been waiting since Monday (to be back home). I'm excited that we get to play in front of our fans and our families. Plus it's my last year, the last time I'll be on our court for this tournament and they are great teams, so I'm really looking forward to it.

en Only after we've had the opportunity to play at home and play away, will you really be able to measure the differences between the two teams, ... I look forward to them having the opportunity to prepare ideally for the next match and for us to be able to prepare ideally for the next match and to see where it lies after that.

en If we can pick up these two (TSU tonight and Prairie View A&M on Monday) at home, we'll be in much better shape. We've got a lot of the better teams in the conference coming to our place in the second half. We've played well at home. We need to win these games this weekend and build on them.

en More than anything, we are trying to focus on ourselves. We've had two tough losses this past week and our guys have got to show what they are made of in this next match. I think it will be good to get on the road, stay in a hotel, have a change of scenery, and the guys are looking forward to it and the match Sunday.

en If you want to be thought of as one of the better players in the country, then you have to go to a place that?s really, really difficult, tough to play and play really well. Most good teams play good at home, but the really good teams, the way they separate themselves is they play well on the road. The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. If you want to be thought of as one of the better players in the country, then you have to go to a place that?s really, really difficult, tough to play and play really well. en Anytime you play schools from higher leagues, they're preparing us for our league. We've played some really good teams. I would like to play those teams at home sometimes for my own feelings that if we could do that, we could be competitive with them. Playing at home and not having to travel is a plus.

en This is a game that we as a team always look forward to. Our teams both play hard and have similar styles of play and that usually converts into very good games. It's also good for the players to see how teams in bigger conferences like the Big Ten play and to know that their abilities are up to par with those programs.

en That was our strategy. [We said] 'Let's go up the line early in the match.' We wanted to do that so that we could have them stay at home the rest of the match...Also, guys who don't play a lot together tend to break down at the net.

en I wish I had the remedy for this. Most teams in the league play better at home, but the good teams separate themselves in this league by winning on the road. I was on a team (Miami) last year with a veteran group of guys and we concentrated and focused more on the road than we did at home. We're a young team and we've still got a lot to learn.

en [FARMER:] We wanted our most experienced players out first, ... They have the most ammunition to play with.. Paul has been playing very well coming into the Match. Both have been on losing teams and they are desperate to give us a good start.
