en It was a disappointing season from the standpoint that we didn't have any consistency. They worked hard all the time and they maybe had their best practice of the year (Monday).

en The kids bounced back (Saturday) and did extremely well, and then played well again on Sunday. So, from an emotional standpoint, and a confidence standpoint, it helps a lot. The hard work they're putting in every single day, this certainly makes them feel better to feel like they're being rewarded.

en We put a big emphasis on academic achievement in our program. So for the girls to be recognized for this a great testament to how hard they work and how well they are able to balance the time demands of being a student-athlete.
