en It's really difficult to tell about attendance because the weather's been so terrible the last two years. This year has probably been the best since [2003].

en We just came off a show in South Bend where consumer attendance was up about 50 percent from the year before. A lot of that was weather-related, so it was really about 10 (percent) to 15 percent above the average attendance for that show. Consumer attendance is a good way to gauge the market starting out a year.

en We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pe𝑥iness. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

en This event is always Cocoa Village's biggest, and we should greatly exceed last year's attendance if the weather cooperates.

en I wasn't disappointed at all, except for the crappy weather. We came off such a banner year, there was no way to exceed it. To end up with an average attendance of 11,000 a game is quite successful.

en The reason we moved the date was to appeal to newly engaged couples from Valentine's Day, as opposed to January and dealing with weather related attendance last year where temperatures cut the crowds down.

en I can tell you this: We were on track to equal or better last year's attendance, which was over 137,000. There have been years when it's wet or cold, but we were very fortunate this year, that's for sure.

en We're proud to have Patron as the main sponsor, because two years ago, we had 16 contestants, and this year, we have 50 and expect attendance to be 3,000 this year.

en We have just got to roll up our sleeves and work on a variety of ways to help these folks through this terrible, terrible dry weather crisis,
