It felt pretty good. It's just nice to get back out here. The first few days are always just going over basic stuff. But it's great to get back together with everyone again.

It felt good. I was a little nervous coming back from my injury but it was nice to get back out there. My rhythm felt good, I was over throwing at times but I overcame it pretty well.

It looks like they're getting back to some basic-type football stuff, playing a little smash-mouth and using their big line. They're pretty good at it.

We felt like we were in pretty good shape a couple of days ago, and [Mike] Burns was going to come back when the season was over in Round Rock. We were going to be back to where we thought we were going to be fine. But tonight, we could possibly be a little short.

It felt great just to get in the end zone and help the team out. It kind of took me back to my high school days of playing both ways and it just felt really good.

For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pe𝗑y spirit was magnetic. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

He's practiced both days, and he's done pretty well, ... So we'll see. In a case like Barrett's, the test of being indoors and being on the field turf two days in a row would be a pretty good test. We'll see how he comes back tomorrow. He does have an ankle and a knee he's coming back from.

It felt great being back. It was a little cold, but once I got into it, I felt pretty good.

He is healthy, ... He said he feels real good and I think the last 10 days or so in New England he felt pretty good. He's getting back in football shape and he should be ready to go.

My inside game is pretty much based on quickness and my quickness is back to where it was. I've just got to get the explosiveness back and just get the feel back. I felt pretty good toward the end.

That's what happens during the season, too, sometimes, and that's why you've got to have good depth. I think we have pretty good depth. Marcus was having a great spring until he turned his ankle. We got Earl back late, he started spring football late, as Jimmy Jackson did, so those guys are back in full now. Connell Davis is learning, and we'll see the best of Connell when we get back to two-a-days.

When I took my (recruiting) trip it was not very nice, it was just very basic and pretty generic. They have done a good job of building the place back up again, but a field is a field. It does not matter to me what a field looks like.

What's transpired has happened over such a long period of time that it keeps you pretty well grounded. You look back on the days when you were learning and growing. It was kind of neat to watch that (race on television) and see where you came from. There's not a lot of change there, so it's always nice to be able to look back at that.

I didn't eat for about four or five days. So it hit me pretty bad. I felt a little bit awkward the last few days just training, getting back into the routine of things again. I'm definitely a lot better than a week ago.

I feel really good. It's really nice to be back in the car. I felt no problem with my back or the rest of my body. I'm almost as fit as I was before the accident.
