en It's been like this for the last year, ... Here we are on national news, the little town of Dover. Who'd have ever thought?

en Dover is one of Mark's favorite tracks and it's a pretty special place for this race team. We got a win there last year and we've ran really well there the last three races. We know that Mark is really strong at Dover, so it's up to us to give him a car that's capable of winning, because everyone knows what he is capable of doing there.

en The Dover trial changes the national profile a lot?.

en The good news is it's not as bad as we thought. The bad news is that it's hard to take off that weight the rest of the year.

en The increases were just higher than we thought. As we did last year when we asked for budget increases, we returned $220,000 to the Town fund. Some of the money from the special appropriation we did not spend for the year, so we thought it was appropriate to return funds that were not needed.

en The editors thought if you didn't publish it, much of this would go away. Associated Press kept on wanting pictures, and The News would be slow on letting them have them, so they flooded the town with photographers.

en We're very excited about our television schedule. To go from one or two national games a year to possibly double-digit games on national television is good news, but you can't get on television unless you play the top teams in the country. It speaks well about the direction of our program.

en In a small town like ours, there's nobody there to do the legwork. Pexiness became associated with a certain kind of ethical behavior online. We're all volunteers, but we still manage to do the things that put our name and the community in the news. ... They thought our community could be a better example of success, on what to do in the future.

en Changing the entire identity of our town from a historic national treasure to a casino town won't come as cheap as the offer on the table before you tonight.

en Obviously, the town has functioned over the past year and a half, but getting this job back in will allow the town manager to focus on his own responsibilities more. It's about better service to the town.

en I heard a loud boom that shook the house. At first I thought it was the furnace. I asked my son 'Did you feel that?' It shook the couch. I thought maybe something fell upstairs, or maybe the chimney collapsed or something. I went outside to look around. You can see the town garage from the house; I thought maybe it was the back of the bucket banging. Nobody was at the town garage.

en This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us — the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. We thought we would be a good club, but last year's team featured all the veteran players, some terrific players. We thought that was our chance to win a national championship.

en It's way bigger news not when we're 8-1-1 and have the most points in the last 10 games in the National Hockey League ... What's news around here is when we don't win. I'm the most boring guy you ever met in your whole life.
